Minor formula adjustments
A single, minor change to an existing Sjolie formula, such as a new fragrance or a special extract.
R&D fee $1,500 · MOQ 1,200 units per formula · 5–8 weeks lead time.
Comprehensive custom projects
Multiple changes to an existing Sjolie product, reverse engineering another brand's formula, or a new formula from scratch.
R&D fee $2,500 · MOQ 2,000+ units per formula, depending on batch size, fill quantity and raw materials.

Project initiation
Once you've shaped your product ideas, submit an application for our review. We start with a detailed project outline: formula goals, packaging specifications, budget and your project blueprint.

Research and development
Our team invests the hours to craft a carefully considered formula, sources the finest materials and creates a unique sample for your testing and assessment.

Cost determination
Only after you approve the sample do we total the material and labor costs: ingredients, materials, production time, fees and filling.

Product ordering
You order your exclusive product at the agreed Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and price. We produce and ship the finished batch to your facility, ready for distribution.
Research and development
What is the R&D process?
Our Research and Development process supports you at every stage of product development: a thorough exploration of formulations, packaging and creative elements, focused on innovation, quality and customization, so your vision is not only realized but elevated.
- Dedicated communication: a direct contact on our R&D team who keeps you informed at every step.
- Multiple revisions: up to three revisions with samples; each additional revision is $250.00 per SKU.
- Data collection and raw material sourcing: we gather what your product needs and source the finest raw materials.
- Quality control and product testing: rigorous testing so your formula is set for success.
- Retail partner testing: some retailers (such as QVC) require extra testing; the customer obtains those certifications.
